Dust Cloud Minimum Ignition Energy Tester

The instruments for determining the Minimum Ignition Energy (MIE) of dust clouds, disperses a certain mass of dust sample into a Hartmann tube using compressed air at a specific pressure to form a dust cloud. The cloud is ignited using a designated spark energy, and a series of tests are conducted to find the dust sample’s MIE. The instrument reflects the sensitivity of dust ignition from an energy perspective and is used to evaluate the potential explosion risk of dust clouds.
